Armed with $75, I bought a Ricoh 35mm camera in 1994 and headed out to a local waterfall to learn about apertures and shutter speeds - my first assignment in Photography 101. After fumbling my way through developing the negatives, I headed to the darkroom and watched wide-eyed as one of my photos came up on paper. Pure magic. Hooked, I headed to Ohio University to finish my education in Photography Illustration, where I used view cameras and studio lighting to capture images destined for advertising.

For commercial work, I specialize in product, portrait, and architectural photography. I have been involved in photography and image retouching for over twenty five years, and work in-studio and on-location to produce the images showcased on this website. My clients include Target, Beats, ABB, and the Cleveland Guardians - as well as a variety of other companies. Careful consideration is taken researching the details of each project, to fully understand my clients’ vision before pressing the shutter.

I find all projects enjoyable, and absolutely love to see great feedback! Some favorites are showcased below.
